1. This wiki is being used to share field trip pictures, share classroom projects and work, keep parents aware of what is coming soon, and individual student work is available in electronic portfolios.
2. I really like that Mrs. Anderson keeps parents informed with upcoming activities. If parents wanted to be involved in the classroom this is a great way to incorporate them. This gave me a good "community feel."
3. This classroom meets criteria f a networked classroom because most importantly the teacher is the leader / The HUB / where it all begins. Also, This wiki encourages greater encouragement in the classroom.

1. This teacher is using this wiki as a space for students who are failing her class, english as a foreign language. This wiki provides exercises, quizzes, and notes on previously covered topics so that they can practice at home.
2. I like that this is a place for additional work / review for students that are behind. This would be great to be used for Christmas / Spring vacation for students to access so they don't fall behind.
3. This meets criteria for a networked classroom because, this wiki increases undertsanding of complex subject matter and increase awareness of individual levels of comprehension.

1. This is a Middle School using a wiki to encourage Summer reading. The purpose is for children to comment on the books they are reading, so that they know what their classmates are interested in. Provides library information and recommended reading list and also lists individual pages for what teachers are reading. Also, lists prizes for incentive based on how many books are read over the Summer.
2. As an avid reader I would love to have a wiki like this for my classroom. I think it's great that children are encouraged to read and can also confer with their classmates about books. This creates a community in the classroom.
3. This meets criteria for Networked Classroom because it increases teacher insight into student difficulties before school even begins (teacher can assess whether child is an avid reader based upon how many books they read over the Summer). Also encourages all students to work hard as they receive a prize for more than 10 books read over the Summer.
